Thanksgiving night they stood in line at Best Buy (at 2am) for bargian electronics. He helped her in the kitchen baking a Italian Cream Cake for Christmas. They went to "Bugs Bunny on Broadway" and Aussie Pink Floyd. He went to her niece's fifth birthday party, and she went to his mom's family retirement dinner. But it was around Valentine's Day – romantically celebrated at Stonehorse Cafe – that they both knew they were more than girlfriend and boyfriend. Talk of a trip to Seattle began. So, in the Summer of 2007, they boarded a plane to the Pacific Northwest. They toured the underground of Seattle, saw the Mariners win a game, kayaked through the waters of the San Juan Islands, and hiked Mt. Baker. But the most memorable part of the trip happened on July 24th. Brad and Dana went to Butchart Gardens, and left engaged.
