I've had a delete-o-matic set up to filter out my spam email for several months.. I just added a quick real-time statistic to the web page that shows how much has been caught in the last 24 hours. Lots and lots. How much do you get each day? Should I feel special?

A mysterious green fog rolled in early Monday morning and killed my cable modem's ethernet port and one of the ports on my router. Cable guy came by today and replaced the modem (under warranty). I can deal with 1 dead port on the router and good 'ol bradkent.com is back up and running...for now.

I think I solved the long-standing issues with this here server. I transplanted some RAM from my sister's charity-bound PC and things got worse. So, as a last-ditch effort I went into the BIOS and slowed down the memory settings and made random other tweeks. Hasn't crashed yet.

I took part in my 1st 5K race (results) tonight despite a strong inclination to take a nap instead. Somehow I pulled out a time of 24:19. If only I hadn't started so far back.. Anyhow, it was fun. Maybe I'll do the Route 66 Run next weekend (results)... not so sure about it's 8:00am start time...

I think this thing might have 50% up-time.. What is wrong is anyone's guess... I figure $250 could replace all suspect components and be quite the upgrade at the same time. Send money...
